Brother Sales, the domestic sales subsidiary of Brother Industries, a printing and machinery maker, will open the interactive entertainment facility ‘BROTHER JOYFACTORY TOKYO’ in its Tokyo Showroom on June 30 2026, targeting foreign travelers. Tickets are now on sale on GetYourGuide.
BROTHER JOYFACTORY TOKYO is the interactive entertainment facility themed ‘Stories × Creation,’ where visitors can make their own original goods, such as T-shirts, badges, record jackets, hanging scrolls, embroidered items and so forth, by using Brother’s technologies, joining Japanese culture activities, such as amurai, karaoke, and calligraphy.
In ‘SAMURAI LEGEND’ attraction, dressed in samurai attire, guests can experience "samurai action" that is synchronized with visual effects. Their performance is enhanced by AI processing, transforming the action scenes into even more striking and powerful visuals, which are then printed on original T-shirts on the spot.
Additionally, highlights from the experience are compiled into a short video and sent to guests immediately, allowing them to share their "starring moment" from their travels with friends and followers around the world.
The facility will also be a showcase to create new experience values and test feasibilities of new businesses through collaborations with tourist facilities, IP holders or event organizers. Brother aims to expand the possibilities for co-creation in various forms, such as joint planning, content development, and implementation in facilities and events.
