Weather News announced the second cherry blossom blooming forecast in 2026, expecting to bloom in western Japan and in eastern Japan as usual or slightly earlier, and in northern Japan earlier than usual. Booming is expected to begin in Tokyo and in Fukuoka on March 21.

Cherry blossom is expected to begin blooming in western and eastern Japan in the end of March, in Tohoku in early April and In Hokkaido in late April.

Blooming is forecasted to begin in Ueno Park, Tokyo on March 22、Kumamoto Castle on March 22, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park on March 23, Kyoto Arashiyama on March 27 and Hirosaki Park, Aomori on April 15 and Goryokaku Park, Hokkaido on April 23.
