NAVITIME JAPAN has begun providing ‘‘summer retreat mode’ on its travel planning & booking service ‘NAVITIME Travel’ to propose summer retreat destinations and cool spots that NAVITIME originally defines based on its collecting data and also to combine the exiting ‘shadow priority route’ function.

Summer retreat search on the app enables a user to find destinations to enjoy staying in hotels, local activities or cultural experiences in cool nature, such as plateau, valley or mountain streams. 

Cool spot search enables a user to find cooling spots on the search categories of ‘indoor tourist spots,’ such aquarium, museum or shopping mall, ‘valley,’ ‘lake,’ ‘fall’ and so forth. 

‘Shadow priority route’ enables a user to find indoor places or shadow routes to avoid direct sunshine. The app also installs a ‘shadow map’ function.
