Visa Worldwide Japan has formed partnership with Osaka Prefecture and Osaka Convention & Tourism Bureau for tourism and cashless payment promotions. According to the partnership, they will work together from marketing analysis, development of cashless payment environment in tourist sites, delivery of tourist information and tourism promotions for Osaka.

Visa is particularly focusing on familiarizing contactless IC card without PIN number or signature. Preparing for EXPO 2025, Osaka Prefecture will develop the cashless payment environment in Osaka for traveler conveniences.
