Japanese travelers were unchanged year over year to 16,500 to Australia, increased by 6.0% to 24,200 to Canada and by 2.0% to 4,100 in June 2015, according to each nation’s statistics authority. Japanese travelers to Canada had increased since April 2014, and those to Australia and New Zealand improved from monthly reductions in May.
