Anyplace Japan will open a furnished service apartment in luxury residence ‘Ebisu Garden Terrace Nibankan’ within Ebisu Garden Place, Tokyo, working with Sapporo Real Estate, to meet foreign remote workers’ needs.

Anyplace provides furnished apartments as a lodging service for remote workers, primarily in the United States, but also in cities such as Tokyo, New York, and San Francisco.

While Japan is an attractive destination for remote workers and digital nomads, primarily from the United States, there are challenges in areas such as a suitable environment for remote work (high-speed internet, height-adjustable desks, etc.), suitable housing for long-term stays, English language support, and flexible contract procedures for foreigners.

Anyplace Japan plans to extend the longterm-stay apartments to major business areas in Tokyo.
