ANA and JR West link their apps for foreign visitors, enabling smooth process from search to payment for JR West railways

‘Travel CUBE,’ an ANA MaaS platform service, and ‘JR-WEST ONLINE TRAIN RESERVATION,’ a JR West online booking service for foreigners, are linked for users to seamlessly navigate to the ‘JR-WEST ONLINE TRAIN RESERVATION’ booking screen after searching routes within the JR West service area on ‘Travel CUBE.’

Since search criteria, such as travel date and route, are automatically carried over, users can proceed directly to booking and payment without needing to re-enter any information. The entire process from route searching to booking and payment can be completed seamlessly using an English-language interface.

The two companies signed an agreement in April 2026 to "strengthen collaboration toward resolving social issues in the West Japan region," and this initiative is part of that broader effort. For the future, they intend to deepen the integration between air and rail services as they work to build an ‘ecosystem for the co-creation of travel experiences.’
