ANA restores domestic flights to half of the original plan in March 2021, foreseeing demand recovery

ANA announced to restore domestic flights to 55% of the original plan between March 8 and 31 2021 probably after the state of emergency declaration is lifted on March 7 from 38% between March 1 and 7. Through March, the operation rate is expected to 51% with 11,495 flights on 92 routes.

On the contrary, ANA will operate only 19% of originally planned international flights between April and June 2021 because travel and immigration restrictions still continue worldwide. ANA will increase flight frequency on the Narita-Manila route to daily flights on April 19, but the number of international flights will be 983 on 36 routes in April, 1,005 flights on 34 routes in May and 971 flights on 34 routes in June.
