JAL resumes its domestic flights to 66% of the original plan in late July

JAL will resume its domestic flights to 66% of the original plan in the period between July 17 and 31, serving the most domestic flights after the state of emergency declaration was lifted. On the highly-demanded routes of Haneda-Sapporo, -Itami, -Fukuoka and -Naha, the recovery will reach 70%, and on the Haneda-Naha route, JAL will serve even seasonal flights during consecutive holidays from July 23. 

Domestic flight demand has recently recovered to 30% year on year since travel voluntary restriction across prefectures was lifted, and bookings are expected to recover to 50% year on year in late July, according to JAL.
