JAL ties up with Uber as a strategic partner in North America and Hawaii

JAL and Uber have agreed to a strategic partnership for JAL passengers to use Uber ride-sharing services (Uber X and Uber Black) from the arrival airport for a ride or to request food delivery services at their destinations by adding the Uber services on JAL app, starting April 1 2021.

JAL is the first Japanese airline to tie up with Uber. JAL expects to expand the ride-sharing service from initially North America and Hawaii to the rest of the world.

In Japan, JAL will develop a six-months campaign for JAL domestic flight passengers to use Uber Taxi, Uber Black and Uber Eats on JAL app.
