JAL will augment five international routes, including San Diego and Bengaluru, to meet growing inbound travel demands

JAL announced that it will augment to daily flights on five international routes after September 2026 to meet growing inbound travel demands: Narita-San Diego, Narita-Bengaluru after September 1, Narita-Melbourne after October 25, Haneda-Helsinki and Kansai-Los Angeles between September 1 and October 24.

JAL will introduce the A350-1000 on the Haneda-London route in the limited period between October 1 2026 and March 27 2027, by which the latest aircraft will be operated on five international routes for 14 flights.

Also, the new inflight meal service will be expanded to more long-haul international routes, such as Los Angeles and Paris, from June 2026, and to all routes from September 2026. Specifically, the first meal service allows passengers to select their dessert from an expanded lineup displayed on a dessert cart circulating the cabin.

JAL will offer “Hakurakusei Junmai Ginjo,’ which is sake brewed exclusively for JAL, as the new Japanese sake in Premium Economy and Economy Class, and special entertainment options commemorating the 60th Anniversary of The Beatles' Visit to Japan.
