JTB acquired all stocks of Nightley, a location data analysis company to strengthen to use and analyze its customer insight data for the JTB Group’s long-term vision ‘Open Frontier 2035.’
Based on its expertise and advanced skills in geospatial data analysis, Nightley develops and provides human flow data analysis solutions that support diverse data sources such as social media, mobile base stations, app GPS, payment systems, and car probes (vehicle driving data) for clients in the domestic tourism, inbound tourism, and urban development sectors.
Its original "CITY INSIGHT" is a regional revitalization support solution that analyzes the movement, stay, accommodation, and consumption trends of residents and travelers in various regions of Japan as human flow data. The solution has been introduced by many local governments and private sectors.
Through the acquisition, JTB Group is internalizing processes from problem identification to effectiveness verification and enhancing its data-driven marketing and sales.
