‘SAGAWA Hand-Free Travel’ in Japan extends the leaving baggage location to a bank in Kyoto

Sagawa Express, a Japan’s leading delivery service company, is trying to extend the leaving baggage locations for ‘SAGAWA Hand-Free Travel’ service to banks in cities in addition to stations or airports. The first bank location is MUFG Kyoto branch.

The service extension follows the online pre-booking system introduced in April 2026. A user for the service can book and pay for a leaving baggage location, date and the number of baggages online and complete a procedure on site only by showing a two-demential code. The service is expected to reduce burdens on travelers and to give them free time to move without baggages.

The service is now available in more than 20,000 bases nationwide, including Tokyo Station, Shinjyuku Station, Haneda Airport, Narita Airport, Kyoto Station, Fukuoka Airport, Naha Airport, hotels or souvenir shops.
