Tokyu Resorts & Stay launched its own luggage delivery service ‘Air Luggage’ in partnership with Air Trunk, a logistic service provider. The service for a guest in Tokyu Stay delivers luggage from an Air Luggage counter in Haneda Airport Third Terminal to five Tokyu Stay hotels (Ginza, Tsukiji, Nihonbashi, Shinbashi and Takanawa ).
The service exclusively for Tokyu Stay guests is operated through the Air Trunk’s logistic system to deliver guests’ luggage to their rooms with the same quality and security levels as delivery of hotel equipments.
Tokyu Resorts & Stay expects that the service enables an international guest to have sightseeing time in movement from Haneda to the designated hotel without carrying luggage.
A guest staying in the designated hotel can use the service with no additional charge. The booking and check-in procedures can be completed online.
A hotel can trace and manage the checked-in luggage on the digital system to avoid possible luggage claims and also congestion with luggage at a lobby.
The service will be extended to Narita Airport and airports in Kansai area in this summer. Also, Tokyu Resorts & Stay plans to launch new delivery services from a hotel to an airport and between Tokyu Stay hotels in the future,
