Hit by large reduction in passenger demands, ANA and JAL revise downward their FY2019 financial outlook

ANA Holdings has revised downward its financial outlooks for FY2019 ended March 31 2020 from the previously announced outlook because the airline has considerably been damaged by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) . 

ANA Holdings has re-estimated sales of  1,970 billion JPY (-5.7%), operating income of 60 billion JPY (-57.1%), ordinary income of 58 billion JPY (-57.7%) and net income of 27 billion JPY (-71.3%).

JAL has also revised downward sales from previously 1,486 billion JPY to 1,411 billion JPY, operating income from 140 billion JPY to 100 billion JPY, ordinary income from 145 billion JPY to 102 billion JPY and net income from 93 billion JPY to 53 billion JPY.
