Partnership with ANA

In the collaboration with ANA, they aim to achieve seamless rail and air travel bookings by linking the reservation systems of both companies by the 2030s. Prior to this, we will proceed with the integration of JR West's overseas internet reservation service, "JR-WEST ONLINE TRAIN RESERVATION," and ANA's overseas MaaS, "Travel CUBE.”

ANA will propose attractive wide-area sightseeing routes combining domestic flights and rail travel to international travelers using ANA international flights, through collaboration with local communities. Specifically, they will collaborate in selling JR West Rail Passes and ANA domestic flights, and jointly participating in inbound tourism promotion projects for government agencies and DMOs.

For the dual residency project, both companies will proceed with discussions with local governments and community stakeholders. Specific details will be announced as soon as preparations are complete.

Partnership with JAL

In the collaboration with JAL, they aim to build a system by the 2030s that allows both rail and air travel to be booked and paid for through each company's reservation system using each company's respective member ID. First, they will consider promoting railways, including the "Haruka" limited express train that departs from and arrives at Kansai Airport Station, as well as JR West passes on JAL's official social media accounts.

Furthermore, they will seamlessly connect international airports (Haneda, Narita, and Kansai) with domestic flights and railway networks. As part of this, they will strengthen collaborative initiatives in the Wakayama area in fiscal year 2026. They plan to create travel packages that combines JAL domestic flights with JR West's travel passes, and to offer special services by JAL cabin crew on some JR West "Kuroshio" limited express trains.

For the dual residency, they will launch a new project tentatively named "Western Japan, Dual Residency" in fiscal year 2026.
