JTB, the largest travel agent of Japan, and Hawaii Tourism Japan (HTJ) signed an agreement to create tourism opportunities for advanced medical care and wellness in both Japan and Hawaii. The detailed plan will be drawn up by a medical institute in Hawaii and Japan Medical & Health Tourism Center (JMHC), a medical coordinator organization established by JTB. 

The plan includes advanced medical and wellness experiences for Japanese visitors to Hawaii as new tourism contents and aftercare services at a medical institute in Hawaii for Japanese patients after treated in Japan.

In addition, JMHC will appeal advanced medical cares in Japan for people in Hawaii and form a system to accept patients from Hawaii in cooperation with medical institutes registered in Japan International Hospitals
