TikTok Japan officially launched ‘TikTok Go,’ a function to book tourist spots and accommodations directly from a short movie. TikTok Go allows users to check locations they've discovered through videos and searches within the app using "location tags," and access the reservation page with a single tap. In Japan, the function has been tested since 2025.

TikTok GO links with Booking.com, Expedia, Trip.com, Viator, GetYourGuide and Tiqets globally and Rakuten Travel, Agoda, Trip.com, Traveloka, Asoview! And KKday domestically. After viewing a movie, the function guides users, mainly foreign users, to partners’ booking pages.

For Japanese users,  ‘TikTok points’ are awarded after completion of a booking.
