United Airlines will launch San Francisco-Naha, Okinawa services on March 27 2027

United Airlines will begin serving three flights a week between San Francisco and Naha, Okinawa on March 27 2027. The new services are part of the airline’s international network expansion plan in 2027.

United Airlines will begin serving direct flights from US to Toulouse and Marseille in France, Luxembourg, Ibiza and Valencia in Spain, Terceira Island in Portugal, and Ljubljana in Slovenia in addition to Naha. 

Also, the airline will increase frequencies on the Los Angeles-Kansai International Airport route to daily flights on March 27 2027. 

The latest A321XLR for international services will be introduced in December 2026, offering ‘United Polaris’ suites with private doors, 4K OLED screens and free Starlink Wi-Fi for Mileage Plus members.
