Haneda is far ahead of other 57 domestic airports in terms of airport terminal sales in FY2014

Tokyo Shoko Research reported that sales of 58 major airport terminal companies in Japan increased by 12.3% year on year to 290.1 billion JPY in FY2014 ending March 31 2015. Among them, the top was Japan Airport Terminal handing the Haneda Airport terminals with annual sales of 141 billion JPY, which accounted for about half of the total.

Forty companies increased annual sales, and forty-seven companies resulted in capital adequacy ratios of over 50%. Only Fukushima Airport Terminal ended FY2014 with a current-account deficit following the last two years because the airport has reduced international flights since the nuclear accident in 2011.

The top 10 airport terminal companies in FY2014 were unchanged from the previous fiscal year. The second was Hokkaido Airport Terminal (Sapporo Shin-Chitose Airport) with 50.4 billion JPY (+6.6%), followed by Fukuoka Airport Building (Fukuoka Airport) with 21 billion JPY (+18.1%).
