Japan’s taxi app GO opens a mini program in China’s No.1 communication app WeChat in partnership with Japan’s e-ticket platform Linktivity. A WeChat user, mainly Chinese people, can call a taxi in Japan on the mini program.
A user can confirm the dispatch process in Chinese and realtime position of a taxi. WeChat Pay is acceptable for payment.
Foreign users of GO increased by 1.7 times year on yea in April 2025. Go has already partnered with seven mobility services in South Korea and China since 2022.
