The first Saudi Arabia-leading tourism summit ‘TOURISE’ was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to announce the new international tourism award ‘TOURISE Award 2025.’ TOURISE is a new global platform celebrating innovation and creativity in the tourism, culture and hospitality sectors, established to redefine the exploration, experience and cultural connection that travelers seek, and shaping the future of tourism.
The first Best Overall Destination winner was Tokyo, highly valued as the city experience combined innovations and diversities. Also, Tokyo won in Best Food & Culinary Destination because of world-renowned capital that marries unrivaled culinary depth, from humble counters to multi-course kaiseki innovation and Best Entertainment Destination because Tokyo truly has something for everyone from globally recognized theme parks and immersive indoor attractions to a forward-looking music and cultural scene.
Meanwhile, winners were New York for Best Arts & Culture Destination, Paris for Best Shopping Destination and Ancash, Peru for Best Adventure Destination.
These cities offer their unique experiences to visitors and represent integration of cultures and creations through tourism, which is a main concept of the Award. The awards symbolize the arrival of an era in which the diversity and creativity of tourism will determine the value of a city.
