Visa Worldwide Japan is running a large-scale campaign to promote tap-to-pay for railways nationwide in Japan until May 31 2026. Visa Japan has developed the same campaign in the limited areas so far.
A Visa user can get 30% of the paid fare or 600 yen at maximum per Visa card back when using tap-to-pay for 46 railway companies nationwide during the campaign period.
For the campaign, Visa Japan is developing a large-scale advertisement programs in the targeted areas and broadcasting TV CM in Tokyo, Kansai and Fukuoka areas.
