
The survey on food experiences in Japan to 1,738 users of ‘LETSGO JP,’ a travel information website exclusively for Taiwanese and Hong Kong travelers to Japan, finds that 71.1% of them answered that they had full breakfast during staying in Japan. 68% selected local restaurant or cafe as the most preferable place for breakfast, followed by hotel at 67.4%.
85.3% said that they had desserts after dinner. The most selected dessert was sweets of convenience stores at 77.6%, followed by fruits at 56.7% and sweets of famous patisseries at 56%.
The ratio of those who have eaten ramen during staying in Japan was 97.8%, specifically 85.5% among first timers to Japan and 90.5% among repeaters to Japan.
