Major amusement parks in Japan close for the time being due to spread of the new coronavirus

Major amusement parks in Japan have decided to close for the time being in accordance with the government’s request to cancel, postpone or downsize large-scale sports or cultural events nationwide in order to avoid spread of the coronvirus (COVID-19). 

The following parks will close by the middle of March 2020 and reopen will depend on follow-up situations.

Tokyo Disneyland and Disney Sea by March 15

Universal Studio Japan by March 15

Huis Ten Bosch by March 15

Fujikyu Highland by March 8

Sanrio Puroland by March 12

NamJaTown by March 15
