Accor signed a operation contract with AQUA RESORT, a Japanese real estate developer, for two Novotel brand hotels in Hakuba, Nagano Prefecture. The first Novotel will open in the autumn of 2030, followed by the second Novotel in the autumn of 2033.
Both of the Novotels will be located in the area within five minutes walking from Hakuba Station. The first Novotel with 82 rooms will have a restaurant, a fitness center, facilities exclusively for skiers and a parking lot for 32 cars. The second Novotel with 120 rooms will have a large scale of onsen as well.
The Novotels, as a mid-scale brand, aim to meet family travelers’ needs from both Japan and foreign countries.
