A local bank of Japan plays an agent role between Booking.com and its customer lodgings

Booking.com and Wakayama City-based Kiyo Bank have launched a new business partnership to target international visitors to Japan. This is the first tie-up with a local bank in Japan for Booking.com.

According to the agreement, Kiyo Bank introduces Booking.com to its customer lodgings and plays an agent role for them. The bank expects that the partnership will create a scheme to attract international visitors in Wakayama and neighborhood.

Kiyo Bank has a network of 111 branches in total (including online branches) in Wakayama, Osaka, Nara and Tokyo.
