Facebook enriches its ads solution for the travel industry to reach people who are most likely to book

Facebook has enriched dynamic ads for travel, the ads solution to display ads for people who are likely to book on timeline, showing ads across Facebook, Instagram and Audience Network.

If someone was browsing hotels but didn't make a reservation (or if they were looking at flights but didn't book one), dynamic ads for travel allow an ad provider to target them with relevant ads based on their specific dates, destinations and other trip details.

The latest joint survey by Facebook and GfK finds that about half of people search on mobile to gather travel information and plan their travels. Among Millennium generation, 68% get travel ideas on Facebook, and 60% on Instagram. The survey also discovers that a travel destination is finally selected in the latter half of booking process.
