Japan’s domestic travel recovery campaign ‘Go To Travel’ has been used by 18.9 million guest nights for the first two months

Japan Tourism Agency announced on October 5 2020 that the total number of guest nights for the Japanese government’s domestic travel recovery campaign ‘Go To Travel’ has reached 16.9 million at least in the period between the launch day of July 22 and September 15. For the campaign, about 73.5 billion JPY has been used in the first two months.

The government has ensured a supplimentary budget of 1,679.4 billion JPY for the entire ‘Go To Campaign,’ including ‘Go To Eat’ supporting restaurants and ‘Go To Event’ supporting event organizers.
