Japan Tourism Agency supports financially five projects to attract high-quality digital nomad travelers from the world. This is one of support programs in the digital nomad visa rule launched in April 2024.
The followings are five selected projects:
Creation of a digital nomad zone in Kanazawa, Kaga and Suzu Cities, placing Digital Nomad Base in KANAZAWA as a hub, managed by Pasona JOB HUB
Co-creation of a sustainable and future-typed mountain resort in Hakuba Village, managed by Tourism Commission of Hakuba Village
Long stay plan for a digital nomad family in multiple destinations in Wakayama Prefecture, managed by KitchHike
Spiritual retreat and co-living for digital nomad in Kotohira Town, Kagawa Prefecture in partnership with Chiang Mai, Thailand, managed by Kotohira Bus
Nomad Resort Okinawa 2025 in Nago, Okinawa, Nanjyo, Ishigaki cities and Yanbaru area, managed by Nomad Resort, Nago City and Northern Wide Area Municipal Affairs Association
