The ratio of Instagram users among young Japanese females reaches 70%

The latest Nielsen Digital survey finds Instgaram users in Japan were up 15% year on year to 22.57 million in June 2019, and the user ratio remarkably rose from 7% in June 2014 to 32% in June 2019. The ratio of 18 to 29 years old females particularly reached 67%.

The survey also illustrates that they frequently use picture-processing apps, such as Foodie, KINE Camera or SNOW, and fashion and beauty apps, like Hot Pepper Beauty or GU.
