Alibaba Japan launches a medical tourism service in Japan for Chinese travelers on the Alibaba Group cross-border EC platform ‘Tmall Global.’ The first service is medical check or health screening program. Japanese medical companies or organizations open their official shops on Tmall Global and provide booking opportunities with Chinese consumers.
Before visiting Japan, a Chinese traveler book a medical service on the mall and receives results on e-mail after completing the service.
They plan to offer aesthetic medicine services next and expand the services step by step in accordance with Chinese consumers’ needs.
Alibaba Japan partners China’s medical online service provider GLZHealth to support Japanese medical operators to open and manage their shops on Tmall. More than 200 companies related to medical services and supplement providers joined the seminar for the new business, according to Alibaba.
