ANA will be the first Japanese airline to commence IATA Travel Pass tests on its international flights

ANA will begin demonstration tests for IATA Travel Pass, a digital health passport app developed by The International Air Transport Association (IATA), on the selected international flights.

The app functions as identification of a passport holder and as digital certificates for PCR test result and probably vaccination records in the near future. Also, it contains the latest entry requirement information of each country.

IATA Travel Pass project is currently joined by 13 airlines in the world. Emirates, Etihad Airways and Qatar Airways have already announced that they will begin test flights in this spring.
