Autumn leaves in Japan are expected to be at their average peak, but colors might change due to the extreme heat in this summer

WeatherNews has forecasted that autumn leaves this year are expected to be at their average peak or a little bit behind usual nationwide. WeatherNews also said that part of autumn leaves might be damaged the colors due to the extreme heat in this summer. 

According to the first autumn leaves forecast, autumn leaves in  Daisetsuzan Asahidake, Hokkaido will start around September 13. Coloring will start in Zao, Yamagata on around October 14, in Tazawa Lake, Akita on around October 25, in Nikko Iroha-zaka, Tochigi on around October 27, Takao, Tokyo on around November 20, Kamikochi, Nagano on around October 20, Arashiyama, Kyoto on around November 21, Miyazima, Hiroshima on around November 21 and Akizuki , Fukuoka on around November 26.
