LINE Yahoo! integrates communication windows into AI agents to support clients seamlessly from design to target in advertising

LINE Yahoo! (LY) held the corporate event "LINE Yahoo! BIZ Conference 2025" to explain future developments, including new services. The company has been working on "CONNECT ONE," a platform concept that integrates corporate services from a customer-centric perspective. LY is accelerating integration of AI into the platform that links a variety of business assets solutions including LINE Official Accounts. 

“LY can achieve a more seamless and true CX (customer experience) by implementing AI,” Yuki Ikehata, LY Marketing Solution Company CEO, emphasized at a keynote speech. “We are forming a platform that AI agents autonomously guide customers through purchases, reservations, and various conversions.”

LY continues supporting business partners in the next generation marketing from campaign design, advertising optimization or insight exploration. 

LY has implemented AI assistances for a variety of products under the concept of ‘AI First.’ According to LY, the Yahoo! JAPAN AI Assistant and LINE AI Talk Suggest already have 8.6 million daily active users.

Integration of communication windows into AI agents

To upgrade CX, LY will unify all communications with users, which was previously separated by channels, into one, into the LINE Official Account. This will allow users to first consult with an agent on LINE when inquiring about each brand or service.

Shohei Niki, LY Senior Product Manager, said that LY is creating a brand agent experience that users will recognize.

For the next generation marketing, LY will implement an AI agents into the LY service management screen. It will autonomously take action based on marketers' needs and provide end-to-end support for marketing from upstream to downstream.The agent begins talking with customers, and then real-time interactions begin. To support it, communication functions such as voice input and video input will be available. 

To help partners exploit insights, LY will deepen understanding of user insights and even propose next steps through combination of search data, information delivery results, first-party data and so forth. 

Furthermore, campaign design will be automated for the optimal communication plan based on budget and objectives, and proposes creative and targeting settings to match the plan autonomously. Niki said, “We aim to create experiences for partners to operate their businesses directly and intuitively.

LINE advertisement and Yahoo! advertisement will be integrated

LY has started providing ‘Business ID’ as a common login ID of LINE Business ID and Yahoo!JAPAN Business ID since June 2025. Following that, LY will integrate LINE advertisement and Yahoo! advertisement  into one platform next spring. 

Niki explained, “It will be possible for clients to send emails more efficiently and easily, reaching users across all LINE apps. Also, they will be able to use various data cross-sectionally, including Yahoo! search data and LINE user data.”

LY expects that the integration will help clients grasp a moment for a user to have an interest in a product or a service more preciously and more real-time. 

LY is accelerating to develop products to visualize advertising data, one of which is ‘Business Manager Insight’ to analyze comprehensively LY services cross-sectionally. 

After the integration, data will be also unified to analyze all advertising data cross-sectionally. In March 2026, LY will provide the service to LINE Official Account users and advertisement clients.
