Peach Aviation, a leading LCC in Japan, has introduced a Workcation system for its employees, as extension of the conventional telework system, to improve work-life balance for employees and to contribute to local economy revitalization.
With the new corporate system, it is possible for a Peach employee to set up approved working days during a vacation period. The LCC expects that employees will interact with local people in the LCC destinations and play a role to send local attractions.
This is a kind of trial for the LCC to develop Workcation programs for individual travelers or companies in the future.
