Tourism EXPO Japan 2021 in Osaka will be postponed to autumn 2023 due to uncertainty amid the pandemic

Japan Travel and Tourism Association, Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) and Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) announced on July 20 that Tourism EXPO Japan 2021 in Osaka, which is scheduled to be take place from November 25 to 28 this year, will be postponed due to the uncertain situation, including capacity regulation, amid the pandemic. 

Detailed information will be e-mailed directly to exhibitors on August 2 2021 and also will be announced on the official website. 

The event in Osaka will be postponed to autumn 2023, following Tourism EXPO Japan 2022 in Tokyo Big Sight from September 22 to 25. This summer, Tokyo Big Sight is not available for any events because it is used as International Broadcast Center for Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics. 

Green-light of VISIT JAPAN Travel Mart 2021 for the inbound travel market, which is scheduled to take place together with Tourism EXPO Japan 2021, is still under consideration.
