HIS has begun offering AI Concierge ‘HIS AI Avatar’ for Japanese travelers to South Korea, integrating knowledge of 275 HIS experts for South Korea with the latest local information delivered by Korea Tourism Organization. The avatar proposes travel plans fitted with users’ interests and conditions through natural communication in the same manner as taking with human staff at a store.
The AI service is jointly developed by using multimodal AI agent platform ‘Omakase AI’ of ZEALS. AI builds a utilizable model incorporating practical knowledge of HIS experts, such as ‘What kinds of proposals can be accepted?’ or ‘What are concerns for the first time travelers?’
The AI Avatar is also available for users who buy air tickets through other agencies than HIS. HIS is planning to extend the service to other destinations and expand service contents in the future.
