JTB has acquired an exclusive right to sell tours with ‘Rugby World Cup 2027 (RWC2027)’ tickets as only an official agent in Japan and also a right to sell tickets overseas.
JTB will create and sell exclusive tours combined RWC tickets with accommodations and excursions in Australia. RWC2027 will be held in seven cities in Australia from October 1 to November 13 2027.
JTB said that the acquisition of the right to sell is part of the JTB’s longterm vision ‘OPEN FRONTIER 2035,’ in which the tourism giant in Japan emphasizes high-value-added sports tourism.
JTB has become official travel agents for large-scale international sports events including a hospitality program partner with Major League Baseball in the United Sates.
At the same time, an exclusive website for RWC2027 has already been opened to provide RWC2027-related updates and tour information.
