Narita Airport operates the most international aircraft movements in this winter schedule since the pandemic ended

Narita International Airport announced that the number of aircraft movements in this winter schedule (October 26 2025 to March 28 2026) increases by 3% year on year to 4,755 weekly,  the second most aircraft movements following 4,941 weekly in 2019. 

The number of international aircraft movements is up 3% to 3,839 weekly, the most aircraft movements since the pandemic ended. 

The number of domestic aircraft movements is up 6% to 916 weekly. 

The Narita network extends to 104 foreign cities and 18 cities in Japan. Since the summer schedule, China Eastern Airlines has restarted Yantai flights, and Air Cambodia and United Airlines have started Phnom Penh flights and Palau flights respectively as new services. 

The number of airlines flying into Narita totals 97 including Air Cambodia as a new comer.
