Palace Hotel Tokyo revealed that ADR rose to 85,881 JPY in May 2023, 28,273 JPY higher than the same month in 2019, though the occupancy rate was 70.3%, lower than March or April, a cherry blossom season. A share of international guests primarily from U.S., U.K. and Hong Kong was 67.8% of the total.
Zentis Osaka, a Palace Hotel Group, also had a high international guest share of 72.4% from a variety of source markets, such as a share of 35% from Asia and 30% from U.S., Europe or Australia. ADR was 20,997 JPY, and the occupancy rate was 61%.
