‘Roadside Hotel Project’ jointly by Sekisui House and Marriott accelerates, opening 14 new hotels in Japan after the next spring

Sekisui House and Marriott International will accelerate ‘Trip Base Roadside Hotel Project,’ opening 14 hotels in eight prefectures (1184 rooms in total) after the next spring. The project is to build Fairfield by Marriott in ‘Michi no Eki (roadside  station in English),’ and since October 2020, 14 hotels in five prefectures have already been opened. The target is open of about 3,000 rooms in total in 26 prefectures by 2025.

For the future business expansion, Sekisui House signed a contract with New Tourism Trip Base 2 as a special-purpose company for the hotel development.
