Year-on-year comparison of Japanese travelers to Hawaii, Guam and Okinawa in September 2016

Based on official statistics data in September 2016, Japanese travelers reduced by 1.6% to 133,600 for Hawaii and by 5.3% to 65,100 for Guam, but increased by 2.5% to 589,600 for Okinawa on a year-on-year basis.

Japanese travelers for Hawaii increased by 0.9% in June 2016 but reduced after July. Those for Guam resulted in year-on-year reductions for ten months in a row since October 2015, but resulted in 7.7% growth in August. Those for Okinawa resulted in year-on-year growths in all months except March 2016.
